I'll tell you in brief how I feel about being a poet.
At the age of eleven I wrote in my diary that I wish to become a poet because poets are capable of expressing their feelings and thoughts, several years later I discovered that my lines are considered poems, the texts in my diaries are poetry!
That spontaneously I became a poet.
Through writing I discover myself, I enjoy forming new sentences, playing with words, drawing new images and composing the inner music between the lines.
Sharing my words with others makes me feel proud that I bring joy to others lives when they enjoy reading my poems; it's really wonderful to leave a mark of beauty on earth, to draw a smile on some ones face or share their happy moments, or their fears or tears when they find in my words what they feel but cannot express or have no one to share with or understand.
I think I gain a lot through what I receive from readers, their kind notes and warm messages are worth the suffering, worrying and even disappointments I sometimes face in this career. A couple of years ago I decided not to think how to make money from writing poems but to think how to make money to be able to continue writing my poems as a hobby.
